Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which Ayavazhi Technologies Private Limited collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from the users of mobile or desktop application and/or services connected with it. This Privacy Policy applies to Ayavazhi’s mobile application software technology (“Platform” or “Clan”), and services offered by Ayavazhi in connection with the Platform (“Services”). By using or by registering Your profile with the Platform and/or by using Services offered in connection with the Platform, You are consenting to the use, collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of Your information in the manner set out in this Privacy policy.
1. General
1.1 Ayavazhi Technologies Private Limited (“Ayavazhi”, “Ayavazhi Technologies”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”) is committed to the protection of personal information provided by the users (“You”, “Your”, “User”) to Ayavazhi. You agree that Your use of Ayavazhi’s mobile application Clan (“App” or “Platform”) implies Your consent to the collection, retention and use of Your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).
1.2 We take the privacy of our Users seriously. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of Our users while providing a personalized and valuable service.
1.3 No User information is rented or sold to any third party. When You use the App, the App may collect Your device number and other personal information. A high standard of security is maintained by Us for Our users. However, the transmission of information via the internet or telephone networks is not completely secure. While We do Our best to protect Your information, particularly with respect to protection of Your personal data, Ayavazhi cannot ensure the security of Your data transmitted via the internet, telephone or any other networks.
1.4 Access to the contents available through the App is conditional upon Your approval of this Privacy Policy which should be read together with the terms and conditions of use (“Terms”). You acknowledge that this Privacy Policy, together with our Terms, forms Our agreement with You in relation to Your use of the App (“Agreement”).
2. Information Collected
Ayavazhi may collect information from Users at various stages from registration on the Platform by the Users to submission of content by the Users or while the User is accessing/using Services. The information collected may be personally identifiable information or other information. You may choose to not provide the information if You do not wish to use the Platform and/or Services.
2.1. Personally Identifiable Information
The Platform may collect personal information that identifies You in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to the information submitted during download, installation and/or use/access of the Platform or in connection with access/use of Services or features offered through the Platform or in connection with the Platform. "Personal information" of a person means any information which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available is capable of identifying such person. Personally identifiable Information collected may include Your name, image, mailing address, email address, phone number and demographic information such as gender, nationality, postcode and other personal information including but not limited to date, time or place of birth, location, interests, preferences, likes and dislikes, and usage information. Ayavazhi collects Personally Identifiable Information only if You voluntarily submit such information to us or provide access to such information by connecting to social networking sites through the Platform or Services (for example when You use the facilities or Services connected with the Platform or engage in certain Platform related activities including but not limited to becoming a member or signing up for an account or linking an account through a social network including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and/or LinkedIn). Ayavazhi may also collect personally identifiable information You may provide when corresponding with us by e-mail or phone, or to access/use any other interactive/non-interactive features of the Platform and/or Services. You have a right to correct any errors in Your Personal Information available with Us. You may request Us in writing that We cease to use Your Personal Information.
2.2. Non-personal Information
Ayavazhi may collect Your non-personal information whenever You use, access or interact with the Platform and/or use Services. Non-personal information may include the mobile or computer’s name, version, the type of device used, users’ operating system and version, the unique ID of the mobile device, third-party apps or websites or services that referred You to this Platform, language preferences, location information, IP address, technical information, information about third-party apps including without limitation package name (which is same as the package id on play store), package version, installation and/or uninstallation event information and other similar information about the User.
You may not download, install and/or use the Platform if You do not wish to provide or share personally identifiable and/or other information with Ayavazhi. By providing personal and other information/data to Ayavazhi, You are agreeing to permit/allow Ayavazhi to use the said information as provided in this Privacy Policy.
3. Confidentiality
3.1 We do not disclose Your Personal Information to any third parties other than to Ayavazhi or its affiliates or other trusted business or persons, based on strict adherence and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

You understand that once You leave Our servers, use of any information You provide shall be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site used by you

4.1 The security of Your Personal Information is important to Us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to Us, both during transmission and once We receive it.
4.2 Although We make best possible efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, You should understand that there is no such thing as complete security, and We do not guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of Your Personal Information. If We become aware that Your Personal Information has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, We will use reasonable efforts to notify You of the nature and extent of such disclosure (to the extent We know that information) as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law.

5.1. Whenever You access the Platform and/or Services, the Platform may place cookies on Your hard drive for record-keeping purposes to enhance Your experience or sometimes to personalize Your experience. Cookies are small text files that are placed on Your computer’s hard drive by the Platform You visit. Cookies help Ayavazhi to identify information relating to Your activities and to retain information relating to Your preferences and history on the Platform.
5.2. Ayavazhi and/or its service providers may use advertising cookies to deliver ads that are more relevant to You and Your interests unless You opt out of such advertisements.
5.3. You may choose to disable cookies by turning off cookie feature on the web browser. However, by disabling this feature, some parts of the Platform may not function properly. This may prevent You from taking full advantage of the Platform and Services.
6. Updates And Changes To Privacy Policy
6.1 We reserve the right, at any time, to add to, change, update, or modify this Privacy Policy so please review it frequently. If We do, then We will post these changes on this page. In all cases, use of information We collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected.

You hereby confirm that You have understood the terms and conditions of this policy and consent to the collection, storage, processing and use of Your personal and other information in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy. You agree to not use the Platform and services offered by Ayavazhi if You do not wish to share Your personal and other information.

By downloading, installing, and accessing/using the Platform and Services, You are signifying Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. Your continued Access or Use of the Platform and Services following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed to be the acceptance of such changes.
